if you want to experience what he meant
saying- 35; let nothing tie your hands!
It is not possible for anyone to enter the house of a strong man
and take it by force
unless he binds his hands;
then he will (be able to) ransack his house.
Seeking the kingdom you should be a strong man,
which is one ‘fasting from the world’,
and one who remains aware all the time,
so no one will be able to bind his hands at any time =
take him by surprise and disable him from seeking.
This does not only refer to anything which comes from outside yourself,
but even more to things from inside yourself;
our self, our worldly ego which is driven by greed and passion. They may
represent the strong man of the house, they should be bind,
after which our worldly house can be ransacked,
and the quest for the kingdom commenced.
let nothing tie your hands when you seek the Way, especially not your self!
Matthew 12:29; Mark 3:27; Luke 11:21.
