if you want to experience what he meant
saying- 41; always be generous.
Whoever has something in his hand
will receive more,
and whoever has nothing
will be deprived of even the little he has.
Most of the time this saying is interpreted as a general lament that the rich get richer, and
the poor poorer. However, to have something in one’s hand was to indicate that it was for
giving it away (Quispel,2004). So, actually, the saying means that when you are willing to give to
others, so will be done to you! Someone who is unwilling to give to others will eventually
lose that what he owns, even if it is little.
It is like the law of karma; the Buddha said that any good or evil you do towards others
will bounce back on you, sooner or later.
The kingdom is:
always having something 'in your hand'
to give to those in need,
and not hold back!
Matthew 25:29; Luke 19:26.
